Vis-A-Vis – Our History
VIS-A-VIS Paris is a French company specialized in linen of exceptional luxury, both by the fabrics which it uses as well as its know-how. Founded in 1989, it finds a new breath in 2012 when Veronique and Amaury Taittinger purchased the company.
Proposing numerous timeless models entirely hand embroidered on egyptian or satin cotton, cotton voile, linen or even organdy, it finds its peculiarity in a precious asset: the custom-made product
Each model, adapting to bed linen, table or sponges can be declined to infinity depending on the desired colors. A department is also dedicated to special projects.
Véronique Taittinger in charge of the Artistic Direction assisted by Sophie Gaudion, has surrounded herself with both stylists Stephanie Huré and Helen Roule to answer with efficiency and creativity to the requests of the unconditional customers of the brand.
In 2013, VIS-A-VIS Paris opens a shop – quiet and spacious showroom in a court-yard slightly behind the Faubourg St Honore in order to preserve some form of confidentiality and luxury.
In 2014, VIS-A-VIS Paris legitimately takes place in a new space dedicated exclusively to home collection on the 2nd floor of the Bon Marché Rive Gauche.
